Dimensional anchors, they don't make 'em like they used to.

Hmm, it appears he didn't revert Natsume... Wonder if she'll keep her mind.

Reply Heliotroph (Guest), April 21st, 2013, 12:34 pm

"...You and your little wolfie too!"

Natsume will probably remain a werewol-...sorry wereplushie because she CHOSE to become one. I think there's a 50/50 chance she'll retain her mind while transformed or remain instinct- driven. If the latter, she'll probably behave similarly to a certain oversized, buxom blonde werewolf from WLPComics we all know and love...

Until they can persuade Vereor to reverse the transformation (If that's possible) it'll be awkward having a giant wereplushie as a sister. Maybe she can turn into a miniature wereplushie.

hmmm, could that thing be a source of his power?

Reply Karmasan (Guest), April 22nd, 2013, 7:54 am

reference I thought he mean "this wretch" not "his"

@M: She's a wereplushe/werewolf, remember? Even if she has no control over the transformation presumably it's only every full moon. Of course, that's one interpretation of the curse. She could learn to control the transformation, Neko detective/Dolly could produce some device that suppresses the transformation (if so, it's probably going to be a collar).

Here's another question to mull over: If she does gain control over her transformations, will she still be infectious? Will her victims be feral, free-willed? The villain clearly corrupted her somehow...maybe her powers will be different if she were purified somehow.

@Heliotroph: The more pressing question is how many other people got infected, as that many wereplushies would've undoubtedly spread the plague. Also, if they did get infected, Vereor didn't promise to release them...

@M: Nah. It's possible he left a few others out there, but I think he did release everyone besides Natsume when Dolly surrendered; it fits the narrative better. Besides, he strikes me as the "lawful evil" type - he needed Natsume to agree to his terms before he transformed and he actually released his victims when Dolly offered to surrender.

Dolly is chaotic good; makes sense that her arch-nemesis be lawful evil.

@Heliotroph: Officially, he's chaotic evil. He'll keep his word only if it's convenient for him. He has plenty of minions of his own so turning the wereplushies back was no great loss to him so in his view, he was getting the better half of the deal anyway.

@Lord T Hawkeye: Well, Word of God and so forth...

Incidentally, that mindset is more characteristic of neutral evil, not chaotic evil.

It just clicked in my head, the title of this page is an "Inspector Gadget" reference :D
